Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, groceries, and other items to customers across New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery-related issues promptly
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and mechanical functionality
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and traffic conditions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to use company-provided delivery vehicle
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
