Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses within Chicago city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
- Report maintenance issues and assist with vehicle upkeep as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with data access for app-based dispatch
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tip processing
