Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Driving: Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive customer experience at every stop.
- Route Management: Plan the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption.
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and verify packages against delivery manifest, handling fragile items with care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork as required by law and company policy.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license is required (CDL is a plus).
- Clean Record: A satisfactory driving record and background check (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age.
