Responsibilities
- Timely and safe delivery of food, packages, and merchandise to customers throughout NYC boroughs
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route optimization using GPS technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical safety
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations when not on delivery
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs efficiently
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company-provided vehicle
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Background check and drug screening required
