Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery concerns
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Louisville metropolitan area preferred
