Responsibilities
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and safe manner.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers at delivery points.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and delivery reports.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo from the delivery vehicle using proper lifting techniques.
- Route Navigation: Plan the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current and valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Clean Record: A clean driving record (no major traffic violations or DUIs).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Basic English speaking and reading skills for communication with dispatch and customers.
