Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages in a safe, timely, and efficient manner to designated locations.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, handling packages with care.
- Verify and inspect the condition of cargo before and after transport to ensure no damage occurred.
- Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts, accurately and on time.
- Utilize navigation tools to plan the most efficient routes for deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the depot.
