Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses safely and on time.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from the delivery van, adhering to weight limits.
- Route Management: Follow designated delivery routes and GPS instructions efficiently to minimize delays.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts and handle cash or digital payments when required.
Qualifications
- Valid License: A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 or 21 years old depending on state regulations.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and navigation systems.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
