Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles to transport time-sensitive freight
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Coordinate with warehouse team for precise loading/unloading
- Document delivery exceptions and communicate with dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro area geography
- DOT medical certification current and valid
- Ability to work flexible shifts (early mornings/weekends)
