Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate sorting and handling of all deliveries to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every stop.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and log work hours.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to a company vehicle (subject to availability).
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigating apps and logging hours.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
