Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, and merchandise to designated locations across Los Angeles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to safely operate vehicles up to 10,000 lbs (vans, box trucks)
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds consistently
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
