Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or handwritten signatures upon completion of service.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and cleaning to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, route planning, and logging delivery information.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred; Class C acceptable with experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong sense of responsibility, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation systems.
