Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout San Diego County
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using GPS tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and exceptions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with GPS navigation technology and mobile delivery apps
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
