Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles for local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Ensure all packages are delivered in a timely manner and to the correct address.
- Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when necessary.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent non-commercial license is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no serious infractions.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and mobile apps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
