Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner, ensuring the integrity of all goods.
- Customer Service Excellence: Interact with customers in a polite and professional manner, handling deliveries with a positive attitude and resolving any issues on-site.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS navigation and route planning tools to optimize delivery paths and ensure on-time arrivals.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and other paperwork required by company policy.
- Physical Handling: Lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly as required by the job scope.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior professional driving experience required; we provide paid on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods, with the physical strength to handle packages.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and follow directions accurately.
