Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Optimize daily routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Inspect vehicles for safety and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Coordinate with dispatch team to update delivery status and troubleshoot issues
- Load/unload packages securely to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area streets and navigation tools
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities and data plan
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
