Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation proficiency with smartphone apps
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
