Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul freight delivery across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route changes
- Manage electronic logging systems and maintain accurate trip records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
