Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul freight transport across the continental US
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logbook compliance
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery deadlines in all weather conditions
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with 48-state operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for 7-14 day out-of-home assignments
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
