Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental U.S.
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols.
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading procedures while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and real-time tracking.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication.
- Submit timely documentation including logs, bills of lading, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years).
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with hazmat endorsement preferred.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for route disruptions and emergencies.
- Willingness to cross state lines and work flexible schedules.
