Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in the Toledo area
- Manage route planning and on-time deliveries while maintaining client satisfaction
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory records
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Strong knowledge of Toledo metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Reliable personal box truck (2008 or newer, under 26,000 GVWR)
- Commercial auto insurance with $1M liability coverage
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- DOT medical certification current and valid
