Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) for compliance and route optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and warehouse personnel
- Submit timely delivery documentation and expense reports
- Represent our company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and ELD systems
