Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul routes across 48 states
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance issues before/during trips
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Secure and verify cargo documentation at pickup/delivery points
- Represent SwiftLine professionally with customers and at truck stops
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays and variable schedules
