Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul freight transport across designated routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery schedules while maintaining accurate documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and freight coordination
- Maintain clean driving record and represent Swift Logistics professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to spend 3-4 weeks on the road with guaranteed home time
