Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials across Louisville metro area
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques, securing items to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, obtain signatures, and resolve delivery discrepancies
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and problem-solving
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adapt to urgent delivery requests
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with Louisville streets and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
