Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for same-day and scheduled deliveries across Kansas City metro
- Verify package documentation and maintain delivery logs with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery time windows
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly with proper lifting techniques
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management skills and punctuality in all deliveries
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Must be available for flexible hours including weekends and holidays
