Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents across Jacksonville metropolitan area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maintain strict time windows
- Verify package integrity and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and route planning
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Jacksonville neighborhoods and major highways
