Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across NYC metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper recipient signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates in real-time via mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs in buildings
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- NYC driving familiarity and knowledge of traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
