Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo using proper lifting techniques
- Represent Urban Logistics Solutions with professionalism and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B or higher) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Boston area streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation systems
- Must be available for early morning shifts (5:00 AM start)
