Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using GPS tracking systems and mobile applications
- Verify recipient information and obtain proper signatures for all deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt routes dynamically to avoid traffic delays and ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at pickup/drop-off points
- Assist with loading/unloading packages using proper lifting techniques
- Uphold company safety protocols and defensive driving standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and navigate stairs
- Proficient in smartphone navigation apps and basic digital tracking systems
- Fluent English communication skills with clear verbal abilities
- Strong time management and route optimization capabilities
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
