Responsibilities
- Transport packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations across Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Verify recipient identity and obtain signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt routes dynamically to avoid traffic delays and ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or A preferred
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and maneuver packages in tight spaces
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Fluent English communication skills
