Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across Los Angeles County using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain electronic signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on real-time conditions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no more than 2 minor violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficient in GPS navigation and mobile communication tools
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
