Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and goods within Boston and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and update tracking systems in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and time management
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as required
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Boston metropolitan area and surrounding towns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
