Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer literacy for paperwork and logging.
