Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and changes.
- Practice good housekeeping standards to maintain a clean vehicle interior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
