Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Deliver freight on schedule to commercial and residential locations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area geography
- Knowledge of hazmat regulations (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
