Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for regional deliveries and long-haul routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes using advanced GPS navigation systems
- Handle freight documentation and electronic logging compliance (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT safety standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat materials (HME endorsement preferred)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Kentucky/Indiana highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
