Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation is handled.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record at all times.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Complete daily logbooks (ELD) accurately and in compliance with hours of service rules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation tools.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and motor vehicle record review.
