Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on highways and local delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight and balance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and documentation in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to undergo paid training if no commercial driving experience is present.
