Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) for regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Manage loading/unloading procedures at client locations
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and delivery tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proven experience in regional trucking (within 300-mile radius)
- Knowledge of Tennessee roadways and major interstate systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- hazmat endorsement preferred (training available)
