Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Tennessee and surrounding states
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills with GPS/technology proficiency
- Flexibility for early morning starts and variable schedules
- Previous experience in flatbed/dry van preferred
- No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
