Responsibilities
- Operate 24-foot box truck for local/regional deliveries in Philadelphia metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure safe loading/unloading of freight using provided equipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Build client relationships through professional service
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck/straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Philadelphia metro area residency preferred
