Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans on local delivery routes within the San Diego area.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely using pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and electronic logs (ELD) in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL is required (or ability to obtain if entry-level).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a background check and driving record review.
- Basic math skills for calculating loads and routes.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
