Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver goods to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Update delivery logs and maintain accurate customer records.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and resolve delivery issues on-site.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record and acceptable MVR.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways in the Baltimore, CA area.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and load/unload trailers.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
