Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional routes
- Deliver freight to government agencies, hospitals, and commercial clients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and Washington DC traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC metropolitan area routes
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
