Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load management
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and represent Swift Logistics professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
