Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and reporting
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of regional highway systems
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
