Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across regional routes
- Maintain meticulous delivery records and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory adherence
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Handle hazardous materials shipments with DOT-certified protocols when required
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety regulations and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
