Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Deliver freight to designated locations with precise documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with DC/MD/VA routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
