Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional routes
- Load/unload cargo and perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Deliver goods on time while maintaining excellent customer service
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Uphold company safety standards and best practices
- Participate in ongoing training for industry updates
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Illinois roadways and regulations
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and climb equipment
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification required
